President Goodluck Jonathan accepted the resignation of Col. Tony Nyiam (rtd) who was the Presidential Advisory Committee on National Dialogue. The President approved the appointment of Chief Solomon Asemota (SAN) as his replacement.
Recall that Mr. Asemota was first nominated by legal luminary and elder statesman, Prof. Ben Nwabueze (SAN) as his replacement on the dialogue committee following his state of poor health but the President rather chose another candidate in the person of Prof. Anya O. Anya.
The appointment contained in a statement signed on Tuesday by Mr Sam Nwaobasi, the Special Assistant on Media to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Chief Pius Anyim.
