Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge claims he is determined to establish himself as an England regular.
The 23-year-old is looking to add to his tally of four England caps in the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers with San Marino and Montenegro.
Sturridge is hopeful he can see of competition from Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe and Manchester United forwards Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck for a place in the team.
"It's every player's dream to establish themselves as an England regular," Sturridge said.
"Wherever you come from in the world you want to establish yourself in the national team. It's important for you as a player and for your family.
"To help your country be part of successes is special and hopefully I'll be a part of some sort of success with England in the future."
